In 1982, a
young fisherman, working on deck in the Bering Sea, was washed
overboard. The frigid water and towering, breaking seas made
recovery difficult at best. He was wearing neither a flotation
device nor a life jacket. He was recovered and survived, and later
founded Stormy

Pacific Jacket® (NP500):
This is a traditional jacket similar to our standard Bridge Jacket with
two zippered pockets, a storm flap and an inside pocket, plus knit
wrists and waist. A taslon® nylon shell over a tough fleece
lining, wind and water resistant, warm and cozy, fast drying.
Available in red, jade and royal blue in sizes XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL, and
XXXL. Maximum buoyancy: 35 lbs. available with manual and CO2.
Available option: Water activated CO2.
Crosswind
Jacket® (WB800):
Ideal for cool summer days or any evening on the water. The taslon®
nylon shell is wind and water resistant with a fast drying cotton/poly lining,
and flap pockets. An excellent choice for warm climates, but wears
equally well in cold climates as an outer layer. Available in red
and yellow in sizes XS, S, M, L, XL, and XXL. Maximum buoyancy: 35
lbs. available with manual and CO2.

Vest (OF100):
The Offshore Vest shares all of the features of the Offshore Jacket
(below); it provides the warmth and comfort of a sleeveless sailing vest
with the safety and protection of an internal harness and an inflatable
lifejacket that meets Australian Standards for Type I PFDs (AS 1512)
and Yachting Harnesses (AS 2227) and complies with EN 396. It
boasts a windproof and waterproof shell, internal harness with velcro®
closing cover to protect fittings when not in use, safety line with
double action safety hooks, Stormy Seas® inflation system with 25 gram
CO2
cylinder (maximum
buoyancy 35 lbs.), oral inflation tube, reflective shoulder tapes,
fleece lining, fleece lined hand warmer pockets, signal whistle and grab
and tether strap. Available in red
and yellow in sizes S, M, L, XL, and XXL. Maximum buoyancy: 35

Jacket (OF9000)
combines protection against waves and wind with the security and safety
of an internal harness and inflatatable lifejacket in a unique
personal safety package. It will perform in all conditions and
situations from undertaking the most demanding tasks to simply staying
warm on the rail.

Offshore
Pants (OF200)
are fully lined and high cut to complement the Offshore Foul Weather
Jacket. Features include a tough water and wind proof nylon shell,
Cordura reinforced seat, padded Cordura knees, breathable lining, wide
adjustable shoulder straps, zip front with self draining gusset,
elasticized half belt, chest pocket and adjustable velcro® ankle
tabs. Available in red with navy reinforcement and yellow with
navy reinforcement in sizes S, M, L, XL, and XXL. (LIMITED

Newport Vest
(V200):
Longer, designed for all seasons, and more suitable to casual wear than
the Offshore Vest, but offering the same Stormy Seas® safety
systems. This vest features a three ply taslan® nylon shell and
polyester fleece lining. It is wind and water resistant and quick
drying. There are zippered side pockets and an internal chest pocket
large enough to hold most hand held transceivers. Available in red,
jade, and royal blue in sizes XS, S, M, L, XL, and XXL. Maximum buoyancy: 35
lbs. available with manual and CO2.

Alaskan
Sweater (RJ600):
A unique combination of the traditional hooded sweatshirt and a
midweight jacket, this garment is comfortable in all conditions and warm
in the cold. The taslon® nylon shell over the upper body protects
the inflation system, breaks the wind and sheds water. The soft, flexible
hood and lower section are made of polar fleece. Features
include large hand warmer pockets, a two way zipper, and knit waistband
and cuffs. Available
in red, purple, and royal blue in sizes XS, S, M, L, XL, and XXL.

INFLATABLE
GEAR FOR KIDS (RK700)... Just like dad's!!! Several
factors were key to the design of this youth jacket. Children cannot usually operate the CO2
inflation systems of adult gear
and the current state of the art auto inflators are not yet reliable in
a youth application, so this jacket includes a manual inflation system
which the parent activates when the child is on the water. Comfort
was an important factor, most life vests and life preservers are
uncomfortable for children after a short while, the Stormy
Seas® youth
jacket is designed to be worn for hours without discomfort or
fatigue. This is an EVERYDAY jacket with a hidden inflation
chamber; a coat that can be worn for any activity. But, when that
activity includes the water, the parent provides buoyancy by orally
inflating the air chamber. Fully inflated, this jacket returns a
child to a face-out-of-the-water position, something many children's
lifejackets will not do. The jacket features a taslon® nylon
shell with a fleece hood and lining and elastic cuffs and
waistband. Available in red only in sizes S (3-5), M (5-7), L
97-9) and XL (9-11).
